PTO Carnival Date-March 20th 3-6 p.m.

Make plans today to attend the annual Elementary PTO Carnival. This event will be held on Saturday March 20th from 3-6 p.m in the elementary building in Granger. Fun and games for the whole family. Admission is free but please note that there will be a cost to participate in the events. All proceeds go directly to the Elementary PTO. Bring the family and make it a great afternoon.

W-G Board Approves 3-Year Old Preschool Program for 2010-11

The Woodward-Granger School Board voted on March 22nd to add 3-Year Old Preschool Programming to the list of Early Childhood programming at the elementary. Final details are being worked out for the 1/2 day 3 day a week program. If you are interested in this opportunity and/or would like to sign-up space is limited. Please call the elementary office today to inquire about getting your child signed up. (515) 999-2357. Don't forget to mark April 9th on your calendars for a preschool parent meeting. It will be held at 6:30 in the Granger lunchroom. We hope to see you there!

                        Tuesday March 23rd @ 6:30 p.m. in the Elementary MP room

               Tk/Kindergarten Round-Up Student Day (Kids Only)
                       Friday, March 26th from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

                Preschool Parent Meeting (Parents Only)
                        Thursday April 8th @ 6:30p.m. in the Elementary MP room

Annual Progress Report (APR)

The Annual Progress Report (APR) is a report given yearly to the community and state board of education to outline progress made on objectives outlined in the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP). APR's are generally 30+ pages.

APR Summary Brochure

The Annual Progress Report (APR) Summary Brochure is a simple tri-fold brochure covering key highlights of the full APR.

District Student Learning Goals

The CSIP District Student Learning Goals outline the district's objectives for student learning over the next 5 years. Each plan is generally one page long.

Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP)

The Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) is a document outlining objectives for district development over the next 5 years. Each plan is generally 25-30 pages long and includes data used to improve learning and prioritize needs, as well as goals and actions to realize such improvement; student learning goals, long-range goals, and assessment and evaluation information.

Professional Development Plan

Building Professional Development Plans outline objectives for staff development and training at a particular building.

Professional Development Calendar

The District Professional Development Calendar outlines staff development, workshops, collaborations, and other related events pursuant to the district professional development plan.

2009-2010

Woodward-Granger CSD will build futures, one student at a time, through a supportive culture of high expectations.
